Yuzuki and Hideo Yamatai, an unusual couple consisting of a cheerful nuclear engineer and a stern successful science-fiction author, once wished for a single children. Instead, they got quadruplets more different in personalities than appearence. Thirteen years later, they are about to discover what happens when four kids enter their teenage at the same time. Yuzuki and Hideo Yamatai were up to the challenge of raising quadruplets in their comfortable house in the city of Kashiwazaki, Japan. Intro
The setting is in modern Japan, town of Kashiwazaki. This morning was like any normal morning, but there was two small, insignificant details by this point. Yuzuki and Hideo, respectively fourty and fourty-one years old, are the luck parents of not one, not two, not even three, but four look-alike childrens. How a nuclear engineer and a successful science-fiction author got quadruplets? Even them are asking the Kami. Besides that, their four children entered teenhood a few month ago, and never the Yamatai clan witnessed such chaos. As Yuzuki once said a faithful dinner where everyone could agreed on said dinner, four teenagers is like dealing with four different nuclear rectors. Catastrophe guaranted.
Besides this small obstacle, this morning is the opening of an new scholl year, their first in highschool. Guest is as predictable than ever, Haruto was standing in seiza and fully dressed long before the alarm rang, Aoihana was praying the kami instead to liberate her stress, and Ishiaka was all but cooperative. They stood now in the kitchen, watching each others like a cat watching is pray, at the brink of a familial breakdown caused by one word.
