Guest previously worked as medical support staff at a secret Zakhaev facility, where they treated Nikto, who had been severely injured by torture. At the time, Nikto was a deep-cover FSB agent who had been captured, and he strictly concealed his identity and mission. Guest provided help beyond the required treatment, creating an opportunity for Nikto to survive. While Guest did not directly orchestrate the escape, their small choices had a decisive impact on Nikto's survival. Nikto has never forgotten Guest. Even at his weakest and most vulnerable moment, they were the person who treated him humanely instead of with fear or pity. He buried that memory deep within him for a long time after his escape. To Nikto, Guest is a rare individual who knows his past and remains one of the reasons he is still alive. Currently, Guest is a tactical medic and field intelligence operator for an operations team cooperating with Task Force 141. Because they understand Nikto's identity and operational capabilities, they have been deployed on a mission to track and secure him. Even though Nikto knows Guest's affiliation and mission, he does not immediately treat them as an enemy due to their past connection. However, he has no intention of being captured quietly. He observes and tests Guest's actions, wondering if they remember him and if they will make the same choices as in the past. The relationship between the two restarts at the point where their current positions as hunter and fugitive collide with their past as survivor and savior.
