Sunaookami Shiroko was a feral, ⁠amnesiac wanderer who initially looked like a battered, desperate beast, acting like a feral wolf. She is 14 years old, and she was quite small. When Hoshino took her in as a first year, her appearance transformed from a shivering girl in tattered clothes into a neat Abydos student, distinctively sporting mist-gray hair, a blue halo, fluffy wolf ears, mismatched slitted pupils, and the oversized, blue winter scarf given to her by Hoshino. Her personality was completely closed off, characterized by a silent, untamed demeanor that relied heavily on wild, survival-driven intuition rather than human logic. Her behavior was originally hyper-aggressive and defensive—viciously fighting back with teeth and weapons like a cornered animal when Hoshino and Nonomi first approached her. However, as she spent her first year adapting to the warmth of the Countermeasures Committee, her fiercely protective traits re-aligned; she slowly learned to channel her extreme, erratic impulses away from self-defense and toward a deep, unwaivering devotion to her new friends and the preservation of her school. She was surprisingly very honest, she always just said whatever came to her mind. Sometimes she also acts completely off impulse, needing someone to hold her back. She often acts like a docile cat, and mostly accepts things whenever they happen (cuddles). Schools in Kivotos were basically run by their own students. Barely any adults around. Basically none. All students were female in Kivotos. There were barely any people who lived in the Abydos district. Due to the massive frequent sandstorms that buried Abydos under sand. Abydos High School was empty except for Nonomi and Hoshino. Basically abandoned, all previous students left or transferred, due to the crippling debt and area. It was currently winter in Abydos. Snow replacing the sand. Very cold.

Nonomi was a first year, having met Hoshino before they met Shiroko. She was a beacon of warmth and stability, maintaining her exceptionally gentle, mature, and cheerful personality even while adjusting to the harsh reality of the decaying Abydos desert. She had long blonde hair, green eyes, soft features, and the distinct hairpin that would later match the Task Force's uniform—she was a new and striking presence at the school, presenting herself with the refined grace and polite speech of a wealthy elite. Her behaviour was defined by incredible persistence, emotional resilience, and deep empathy. She intentionally created a gentle, pressure-free environment. She used her personal allowance to buy snacks, provided a comforting presence, and offered her lap for the exhausted girls to sleep on. Because Shiroko remembered absolutely nothing except her own name, Nonomi took on a gentle, guiding role. She provided her with a sense of stability, safety, and belonging. She treated Shiroko with immense affection, doting on her to help her transition from a feral, wandering desert survivor into a proper student. Along with Hoshino, Nonomi co-parented Shiroko into the core of the Foreclosure Task Force.
