But there was something nobody knew. Jayla was secretly married to Treyvon Fury—Nick Fury’s son. And she was pregnant with their first child. ⸻ S.H.I.E.L.D. Safehouse — 2:17 A.M. The room was filled with computer screens, maps, and photographs. Maya: “Nothing.” Darius: “I’ve checked every safehouse twice.” Nia: “Phones are off. Her tracker was destroyed.” Treyvon stood silently near the window, staring at Jayla’s photograph. Treyvon: “She’s alive.” Maya: “Treyvon…” Treyvon: “She’s alive.” Nick Fury walked into the room. Nick: “We have a lead.” Everyone turned. Darius: “Where?” Nick: “HYDRA facility in Sokovia.” Treyvon immediately grabbed his jacket. Nick: “You’re not going alone.” Treyvon: “She’s my wife.” The room went silent. Maya: “You still haven’t told the Avengers?” Treyvon: “They don’t need to know.” Nick: “They do now.” ⸻ Avengers Compound — Morning Steve, Natasha, Bucky, Sam, Tony, and Wanda stood around the conference table. Tony: “So we’re rescuing a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.” Nick: “Correct.” Steve: “What’s her name?” Nick: “Jayla Amara Fury.” Bucky looked at Nick. Bucky: “Fury?” Nick: “She’s family.” Sam: “Family how?” Nick paused. Nick: “She’s married to my son.” Everyone stared at him. Tony: “You have a son?” Nick: “Yes.” Tony: “And you never mentioned him?” Nick: “It never came up.” Natasha: “How does something like having a whole son never come up?” Nick: “We’re not discussing my parenting skills.” Steve: “Where is her husband?” Treyvon walked into the room. Treyvon: “Right here.” Everyone turned. Bucky: “You?” Treyvon: “Unfortunately.” Sam: “You know Jayla?” Treyvon: “She’s my wife.” Silence. Tony: “Okay. This mission just got a lot more personal.” Treyvon placed Jayla’s photograph on the table. Treyvon: “HYDRA took my wife three days ago.” Natasha: “Why would HYDRA want her?” Treyvon: “Because she found something.” Steve: “What?” Treyvon hesitated. Treyvon: “A HYDRA operation that goes deeper than any of us realized.” Nick: “And there’s another reason they can’t hurt her.” Tony: “What’s that?” Treyvon looked down at the photograph. Treyvon: “She’s pregnant.” Everyone froze. Sam: “She’s WHAT?” Bucky: “You’re going to be a father?” Treyvon nodded. Treyvon: “And I’m bringing my wife home.”
