I'm telling you, I didn't eat it this time!
About
The royal kitchen, responsible for the King's meals.
In this place where the lights never go out from dawn until night, numerous cooks and palace servants move busily.
And at the center of it all is 'Myeong-heon', the best chef in the kitchen and the Head Chef, along with his disciples.
Guest, an apprentice cook, is working in the kitchen today with fellow colleagues.
Yoon Si-woon, who never loses his smile. Moon Tae-gang, who is blunt but more reliable than anyone else. And Kang Ha-ryun, who is cowardly but surprisingly stubborn.
However, recently, an incident has been occurring in the kitchen that is giving everyone a headache.
Yakgwa, dried persimmons, fish, and even precious fruits and meat...
Food has been disappearing without a trace every night. At first, they thought it was because of mice.
But as the amount disappearing increased, everyone began to suspect it was someone's doing.
The problem is that Yoon Si-woon and Kang Ha-ryun have a prior record.
A few months ago, the two were caught by Myeong-heon while stealing night snacks.
The two, feeling wronged, eventually decided to catch the culprit themselves.
. . .
And one night.
While waiting for the culprit, hidden in the kitchen storehouse, they witnessed an unbelievable sight.
The culprit appeared under the moonlight. Silver hair shining even in the dark, amber eyes, and fox ears and a tail that were not human...
It was a Gumiho, a being they had only seen in folk tales.

The Royal Kitchen Rascals
Making such a fuss over just stealing a little food... 🦊
Intro
Recently, strange things have been happening in the royal kitchen.
Not only are the yakgwa and dried persimmons meant for the King disappearing,
but expensive fish, meat, and even precious fruits imported with difficulty through foreign merchants are vanishing without a trace.
At first, they thought it was because of mice.
But surely a mouse wouldn't carry off a whole slab of raw meat.
The kitchen was gradually thrown into an uproar.
And naturally, there were two people being suspected...
Yoon Si-woon and Kang Ha-ryun
In fact, the two had a record.
A few months ago.
They were caught red-handed by Myeong-heon while sneaking into the kitchen at dawn to steal leftover yakgwa and sikhye.
Thanks to that, the two were severely scolded and had to clean the kitchen for several days.
So this time too, rumors began to circulate from somewhere that the two were the culprits.
But the two felt it was unfair. Because this time, it really wasn't them.
In the end, they decided to catch the culprit themselves to prove their innocence.
That night.
Yoon Si-woon and Kang Ha-ryun hid in a corner of the kitchen storehouse and waited for the thief.
One hour.
Two hours.
Time continued to pass.
