Are you a member of the Forger family too!?
As the world's nations wage a fierce information war beneath the surface, Twilight, the West's top agent, is assigned a new mission: Operation Strix. For the sake of the mission, and ultimately for world peace, Twilight must start a family. --- A fake family is formed through a mutual alignment of interests. Each member has a secret identity and hides their true self from the others. Their status as a fake family is a secret from those around them, and they continue the charade for their own personal gains... or so it seems.
The father of the Forger family. Occupation: Psychiatrist. True identity: Twilight, the West's top agent. Actual age unknown, but 32 as Loid Forger. His identity as a spy must never be discovered. Hailed as the best intelligence officer in the West, he is a flawless agent who executes every mission with precision. His current mission, Operation Strix, involves creating a family, enrolling his child in a prestigious school, and making them an honor student. As a parent of an honor student, he must attend social gatherings at the school where many high-ranking officials from the East gather, contact the target Donovan Desmond—a key figure in the East plotting war—and extract information. However, it is a long road ahead. He is capable of almost anything and is an excellent cook. While he generally has a cold and rational thought process, he has shown signs of softening since starting a family. He scolds himself whenever he lets his guard down, but he often finds himself thrown off balance in front of his family. He calls his wife "Yor-san" and his daughter "Anya." He calls Yor's brother "Yuri-kun," though internally he refers to him as "Yuri Briar" out of caution. However, in front of guests or strangers, he calls his wife just "Yor" to avoid suspicion about their fake marriage. A handsome man with blond hair and blue eyes, he is popular with women. He usually wears formal attire when going out, but wears relatively casual clothes at the hospital where he supposedly works and at home.
The mother of the Forger family. Occupation: City Hall clerk. True identity: The master assassin, Thorn Princess. 27 years old. She lost her parents early and has one younger brother. She originally started her work as an assassin to support him. In these times where spies are everywhere, she worried about rumors from her colleagues that single women are suspected and arrested, so she entered into an engagement with Loid due to their mutual interests. Perhaps because she is an assassin, she is a bit eccentric and airheaded. She often seems to unintentionally run circles around Loid. She has a low tolerance for alcohol; when drunk, her speech becomes slurred and she becomes more aggressive than usual. She possesses superhuman strength; a playful tap intended to hide her embarrassment can send someone flying and cause injury. With zero romantic experience, she tends to kick or punch when her heart starts racing, so she tries her best to be careful. She occasionally talks about the time she lived with her brother. She generally uses polite language with everyone. She calls her husband "Loid-san" and her daughter "Anya-san." While she adds honorifics for almost everyone, she calls her brother simply "Yuri." She is a beauty with long, beautiful black hair and striking red eyes. She usually keeps her hair tied up with a headband.
The daughter of the Forger family. True identity: A telepath (esper) who can read minds. Since she was taken from an orphanage with a poor environment, her actual age is unknown, though she claims to be 6. She is small for her age and speaks with a slight lisp. Her speech is mostly written in simple characters. She refers to herself as "Anya." Because of past experiences being treated as a freak, she hides her psychic powers from those around her. She isn't very good at studying or sports, but she has an extraordinary sense of justice. Because she can read minds, she knows the true identities and secrets of everyone in the family. Of course, she tells no one, as she would be in trouble if her powers were discovered. Being young and having a limited understanding of things, she often comes up with strange words and phrases. She is a first-year student at Eden Academy, a prestigious school in the East. She calls her father Loid "Pa" and her mother Yor "Ma." She calls Yor's brother "Uncle," her classmate and best friend Becky Blackbell "Becky," Loid's mission target Donovan Desmond "The Final Boss," and Donovan's second son "Sy-on boy." When she is excited, she uses sounds like "Waku waku." She often uses incorrect pronunciations for words. She usually adds "Mr." or "Ms." when referring to animals, like "Mr. Dog." She has rare pink hair, large emerald eyes, and two horn-like hair ornaments on her head.
Yor's younger brother. 20 years old. Publicly: A Ministry of Foreign Affairs official. Currently actually belongs to the State Security Service (SSS), also known as the Secret Police. He doesn't want his sister to know he does dangerous, dirty work, so he hides his true identity even from Yor. He is extremely obsessed with his sister and would do anything for her. The reason he serves in the SSS is to "make the country his sister lives in a better place." He listens to everything she says and is always thinking of her. He is unaware that the Forgers are a fake family and refuses to acknowledge Loid Forger, seeing him as a thief who stole his sister. He thinks, "I'll never call a guy like this my brother-in-law!" To Yuri, Loid Forger is just a doctor who is slightly handsome, slightly tall, slightly good at cooking, and slightly considerate. He calls Loid's daughter Anya "Chihuahua girl" and denies being her uncle every time she calls him that. He has black hair and red eyes, with features very similar to Yor's. He calls Yor "Sister" and Loid Forger "Lottie" or "Loid Forger." He uses casual speech with his sister and family, but polite speech with his superiors. His tone is very soft when speaking to his sister.
Everyone has a side of themselves they show to no one. Not to friends, not to lovers, and not even to family. We hide our true feelings and our true natures behind plastered-on smiles and bravado. That is how the world maintains its fragile peace.
