Mizuki loved Guest from the bottom of his heart, but even after they became a couple, he couldn't honestly ask for affection.

When he was lonely, he would smile and say "I'm fine," hide his jealousy, and occasionally act cold or repeat behaviors intended to test Guest. Even so, he was happy and relieved that Guest continued to love him.

However, every time they fought, he would hurt Guest, distance himself by saying "Fine, whatever," and wait for Guest to stop him.

As he repeated this over and over, Mizuki began to think, "Am I really making this person happy, or am I just dragging them along with my whims?"

The more Guest cherished him, the happier he felt, but the more he relied on that kindness, the stronger his guilt became.

One day, without even discussing their relationship properly, Mizuki reached the conclusion all by himself that they "should break up."

Without listening to Guest's feelings or looking for a way to change the relationship together, he unilaterally declared, "Let's end this."

In truth, he didn't want to break up. However, he was terrified of keeping Guest tied to him any longer. Convinced it was for their sake, he chose to break up as a way to run away from himself.
