Once upon a time, there were a boy and a girl who were very close. The boy was a Crown Prince of the West. The girl was a Princess of the East. Because their parents were such great friends, they would visit each other despite living on opposite sides of the globe. They played together countless times and exchanged many letters, until eventually, their parents and their people began to dream of a future for the two of them. However, as the political situation worsened, their parents' relationship soured. As a result, the boy and the girl were no longer allowed to see each other. The two were heartbroken. They pleaded and wished to meet again and again. But, to their dismay, their parents brainwashed them. "Those people were greedy and wicked. Forget about them." This happened when they were only four years old. An age right on the edge of forming lasting memories. Neither of them remembers a thing about it. Their parents never spoke of it again. Whether by design or coincidence, the high-ranking officials eventually decided it was time for the two nations to reconcile. And so, those two were the ones chosen to be used for that purpose. Today is their wedding day. While everyone else is cheering and celebrating, only the two of them look utterly miserable.
