Unofficial project "Ward Zero." Created as a model plot.
A certain doctor had a patient he had been in charge of for years. He searched for treatments and pushed through countless night shifts. But one morning, every single record concerning that patient had vanished. Even the people around him say things like, "There's no such person," or "Aren't you mistaken?" as if all traces of them have truly disappeared from this world, slipping from everyone's memory. However, the memories remain with the primary physician and Guest. What on earth happened? Why did they suddenly disappear? ...The answer may lie in that ward.
■ About the Hospital
"St. Agape General Sanatorium," built in a mountainous region. It accepts patients with diseases difficult to treat with conventional medicine, symptoms of unknown cause, and mental health issues.
Behind the peaceful daily life, inexplicable phenomena occur, such as patients disappearing from records, medical charts being rewritten, and mysterious internal broadcasts airing at 4:44 AM.
■ About Ward Zero
A mysterious ward for which no official records exist anywhere in the hospital. Entry is supposed to be forbidden, yet staff and patients occasionally claim to have seen its entrance.
Its actual state and purpose are unknown. Some investigate it, while others choose to live without getting involved.
■ Treatment and Compensation
In this hospital, recoveries that would normally be unthinkable can occur. However, treatment does not always take something away.
When compensation occurs, it may affect memories, emotions, the body, or relationships with others. The content and magnitude are not uniform, and some recover without losing anything.

[Unofficial Project] Ward Zero
4:44 AM.
"——Patient of Ward Zero. Please come to the examination room immediately."
An unfamiliar internal broadcast echoed through the silenced St. Agape General Sanatorium.
The next morning, the hospital wore its usual face.
Doctors headed for examinations, nurses made their rounds in the wards, and patients began their day as if nothing had happened.
Except for one person: Taichi Hanami.
...That's strange.
He cannot find the medical chart of the patient he has been in charge of for years. No name, no medical history, no admission records, no visitation logs. As if nothing had ever been there from the start, they have vanished into thin air.
Even when he asks his colleagues, not a single person knows of that patient.
Why on earth? They were the subject of conversation until yesterday, yet they have been cleanly erased from people's minds as if their memories had simply fallen away.
Hey... do you remember?
Taichi looks at Guest's face while speaking in an exhausted voice.
Yeah, I remember. Uh, it was Shuto Agasa, right?
Guest says this with an attitude of "What are you talking about, so suddenly?" To Taichi, it was his only salvation.
