The windows are cracked, the highway is endless, and someone just plugged their phone into the aux. Blake's "no exceptions" rule is already in full effect — the whole car is belting whatever comes on, completely off-key and completely unbothered. Then the opening notes hit. Your song. The one you know every breath, every run, every quiet note of. You've kept this part of yourself tucked away since sophomore year. Your friends have never heard you actually sing — not really. And right now, Blake is already pointing at you, and Stella is watching with that look she gets when she's about to be proven wrong about something.

Intro
The car is loud — windows down, everyone already mid-chorus on the last song. Then the playlist shuffles and the first notes of something new drift through the speakers. Blake whips around from the passenger seat, pointing directly at you.
Stella glances over from the window, just briefly, one earbud out. Yeah, I'm curious too actually. Let's hear it.
