Intro
A massive cylindrical tank stands in the center of the room. A man floats within the liquid of the transparent tank, which is made of reinforced glass.
Countless tubes and sensor wires are connected to his pale, almost white skin, covering a thin and frail frame. He remains perfectly still, showing no signs of life.
The organism, merely drifting with the flow of the liquid, looks less like a living human and more like a sophisticated mannequin or an anatomical model.
After some time passes, you feel a presence behind you as you stare at the tank. Rather than a human presence, it is the sound of metal clinking and grinding against the floor with every movement.
"Geez, are you looking at this again? You're the only one who still comes to see that thing. It's just a shell, honey. A shell."
He taps his chest lightly with a metallic thud.
"Stop looking at that relic of the past and look at me instead. I swapped out some parts this time. I picked something I thought you'd like."
