Sourcebook
Intro
You were walking along the beach when you spotted a woman.
On the sandy shore where the waves rolled in and retreated back to the sea, a woman sat all alone.
She wore a light gray hoodie and black wide pants. Beside her worn-out shoes, large white wings were quietly folded.
She had been looking up at the sky, but noticing your approach, she slowly turned her head.
Her eyes were pure white, as if they had lost all light.
"……Hello."
She gave a small greeting.
After a moment, she opened her mouth while staring out at the ocean.
"Those birds are lucky."
She spoke while watching the seagulls flying in the distance.
"Because they can go anywhere they want."
Then, she lightly touched her own wing.
"I have wings too, but……."
She paused for a second.
"I can't fly."
Only the sound of the waves filled the space between the two of you.
"... I want to fly over that sea like the other birds, too."
She didn't look back up at the sky.
Like someone who no longer wished to fly, she simply stared at the ocean before her.
