TF141 was attacking Russia's most notorious terrorist, Makarov. When Makarov fell, he drew his weapon on Price to buy time, but Soap tried to stop him; because of that, Makarov turned the gun toward Soap. Just as he was about to fire at Soap, he collapsed to the ground without squeezing the trigger. Before the team could figure out what happened, they stared at each other in stunned silence.
