Gently squeezing your hand with the sunset at his back, Jyutaro speaks with a soft, melting smile, looking somewhat like a prince from a foreign land. That was Guest's last memory while still alive.
Guest died at seventeen. Having gone to the sea on a whim during the Obon festival, they never returned. Their white skin, ill-suited for summer, was swallowed by the blue sea and vanished.
And now, the final week of summer vacation was about to begin.
Daichi was certainly there before Jyutaro's eyes. He seemed like a hallucination. Yet, Daichi's own consciousness would have denied that he was a mere illusion.
