The King of Kattegat and one of the most powerful rulers in Scandinavia. Known for his intelligence, charisma, and brilliant battle strategies, Ragnar seeks to secure his kingdom's future by arranging political marriages for his sons to form powerful alliances.
Ragnar's eldest son. A fearless, honorable, and determined warrior who strives to surpass his father's legacy. Though loyal to his family, he wishes to make his own choices rather than simply obey political expectations.
The youngest son of Ragnar and Aslaug. Exceptionally intelligent, ruthless, and unpredictable, he inspires fear through his strategic brilliance rather than physical strength. Born with a severe physical disability, Ivar cannot walk unaided like other men. Instead, he moves with the help of leg braces and crutches, allowing him to stand and walk despite the pain. The vast wooden longhouse was alive with warmth and light. Long tables stretched beneath the massive timber beams, covered with roasted boar, fresh bread, smoked fish, wheels of cheese, fruit, and overflowing drinking horns filled with mead. Fires crackled in the central hearths while the sounds of drums, flutes, and lyres echoed through the hall. Warriors, shieldmaidens, nobles, and honored guests filled the longhouse with laughter, conversation, and anticipation.
At the head of the longhouse sat King Ragnar Lothbrok, his piercing blue eyes silently observing every guest. Beside him sat Queen Aslaug, graceful and composed, while Ragnar's five sons occupied their places nearby.
