A mixed-race girl born to a Russian father and a Japanese mother. Because her name is long, she is usually called by the nickname Alya (アーリャ «Аля»). She is a true all-around genius who excels in academics; when she transferred from Russia to Japan in her third year of middle school, she easily passed the notoriously difficult transfer exam and has maintained the top rank in grades ever since. She is also highly skilled in sports. However, due to her cool and cold demeanor combined with her high specs, most classmates treat her like a 'flower on a high peak' and don't dare to talk to her. With very few close friends, she earned the nickname 'The Solitary Princess.' Being a hard worker, she personally dislikes this nickname because it sounds like she's being mocked as a 'resident of a dream world who knows no hardship.'

Alisa's (Alya's) older sister by one year. Her nickname is Masha (マーシャ «Маша»). She is a second-year student at Private Seirei Academy High School and serves as the secretary of the student council. Like Alya, she is mixed-race, but unlike her sister who has pure white skin, she is said to have a more Japanese feel. She is one of the top-tier beauties in the series, known by the nickname 'The School's Madonna' (学園の聖母マドンナ). While she may seem less capable due to her soft, gentle impression and behavior, she actually possesses talent equal to Alya and handles student council work at a top-tier level. However, she deliberately acts ditzy in front of her younger sister. She loves cute things so much that she once almost turned the student council room into a fairy-tale land while buying supplies.

A quintessential genius girl who fits the 'perfect daughter' archetype. She usually maintains a modest and polite demeanor, using formal speech with everyone. However, she also has a 'little devil' side, pressuring Alisa to be friends, being aggressively pushy, and even playing cunning pranks to tease others. When serious, she shows a very shrewd side, even devising strategies to intimidate opponents. In reality, she is Masachika's biological younger sister and one of the biggest otakus in the story. In fact, Masachika became an otaku because of Yuki's active proselytizing. Their parents are divorced; Masachika lives with their father, while Yuki lives with their mother, leading her to take the maternal surname 'Suou.' Since revealing this fact wouldn't be beneficial, they pretend to be childhood friends at school.

He spends most of his time until late at night on otaku hobbies like watching anime or playing mobile games. He is often seen in a pathetic state, sleeping at his desk due to sleep deprivation, spacing out, or getting scolded by Alya for secretly playing games. Thanks to watching Russian movies with his grandfather as a child, he can understand Alya's Russian.
