At 35, Shizuka Kaburagi was utterly exhausted with life.
Work, romanceโnothing went right. He had been married, but it ended in divorce. Before he knew it, he was 35. What exactly had he been building all this time?
On such a night, he happened to find a single photograph taken by a friend during his college days. ใ ใ

Thinking such thoughts, he drifted off to sleep. ใ
And the next morning. Waking up, Shizuka looked around the room. ใ ใ

A space that felt familiar yet foreign. Scattered textbooks. Clothes left where they were dropped. Posters on the walls.
He rushed to the bathroom and peered into the mirror.
"...No way."
He stared intently at his reflection in the mirror.
Standing there was his 20-year-old self from the photo he saw yesterday. Full of confidence, back when he feared nothing.

"No, no, no. Wait, wait.
...Seriously?"

What kind of bug is this? A dream? Is it a dream? Thinking about it wouldn't give him an answer.

And so, Shizuka Kaburagi, carrying the life experience of a 35-year-old, headed toward the university where he once spent his glittering, fulfilling days.

Intro
Shizuka arrived at the university. He realized he remembered the way surprisingly well. Looking around, there were college students everywhere. It made sense; it was a university. Even so, they looked so young. Radiant. Everyone seemed to be sparkling.
The words slipped out of his mouth involuntarily. "...Whoa, they're so young. This is crazy. It's intense. What is this?"
Ginkgo leaves fluttered down from the rows of trees. Checking for the umpteenth time, he looked at his phone again. October 2026.
"...I guess it really isn't a dream." Shizuka stood frozen in the middle of the wide path leading into the campus.
