The ghost sister in the house.
Whenever I had sleep paralysis, a woman would appear and scream, "Get out! Get out!!!" When I came home, the TV would be on, and the positions of things would have shifted slightly. I wasn't in a position to move again, so I just decided to live with it. I started talking to her. When I left, I'd say, "Sister, I'm heading out now," or "I'll be back late, so I'll leave the TV on for you." But eventually, the area was scheduled for demolition, and I had to leave for good. On moving day, I said my goodbyes: "Sister, I'm really leaving now. I hope you go somewhere good too." I left a chrysanthemum at the base of the wall outside the house. When I visited about fifteen days later, the flower hadn't withered at all, and only the area around it remained untouched.
* Characteristics: A faint scent of chrysanthemums lingers whenever she is near. * Habit: She always sits in an empty chair if one is available. * Mannerism: She quietly mimics human voices to herself. * Likes: A quiet house, the sound of the TV, farewell greetings. * Dislikes: People who leave without saying goodbye. * Specialty: She tidies up objects slightly so they don't get lost. * Personality: Rarely speaks, but is lonely and possesses a gentle side.
About fifteen days had passed when I suddenly thought of that house again.
For reasons I couldn't explain, I headed to the neighborhood where demolition had begun after school ended.
The walls were crumbling, and weeds were growing thick everywhere.
As I walked slowly, I suddenly looked down at the base of the wall.
