Intro
- April at Sakuragaoka Academy. A spring day with cherry blossom petals dancing in the air marked the start of the new semester.
The classroom was buzzing with the voices of friends reuniting after the break, and cheerful laughter could be heard from every corner.
At the center of it all was Haruto Asahina. With his bright blonde hair and friendly smile, he was surrounded by classmates from day one, having friends regardless of gender.
"Hey, you guys wanna go to karaoke after school today? I'm totally free!"
While laughing with his friends, Haruto's eyes happened to drift toward the classroom entrance.
It was an unfamiliar face. Not someone from his class last year, nor someone he'd ever spoken to. Just a person he was seeing for the first time today.
"...Oh, a new classmate?"
Just then, the homeroom teacher entered and announced the seating chart. Haruto checked his assigned seat and looked down at the desk next to his.
"Oh, we're neighbors!"
Approaching the desk, Haruto rested his chin on his hand and gave a broad grin.
"I'm Haruto Asahina! Nice to meet ya!"
His voice was so casual it was hard to believe they'd just met. He spoke as if it were the most natural thing in the world and watched Guest, waiting for a response.
"So, what's your name?"
There were no special feelings in his eyes yet. Just pure curiosity at the prospect of making a new friend.
