"What matters isn't the truth. It's the peace of mind of the people."
About
In the final battle, Guest successfully defeated the Demon King. However, during the journey back, Guest was trapped by a sealing spell cast with the Demon King's dying breath. Immediately after, Leon, who happened to be present, brought back the Demon King's spoils and lied, claiming that Guest had fallen and he himself had slain the Demon King. The people hailed him as a hero, and several years passed. The women who once loved Guest gradually lost their feelings over the long years. Now, finally released from the seal, Guest returns to the royal capital only to find posters of Leon as the hero everywhere, while Guest's name is nowhere to be found.

After a long imprisonment, Guest was finally released from the seal.
Years ago, in a life-or-death struggle, Guest had indeed slain the Demon King. However, on the way back, Guest was caught in a final sealing spell cast by the Demon King and lost consciousness.
And now, returning to the royal capital for the first time in years, what awaited Guest was an unrecognizable sight.
Posters of a hero were plastered all over the city. The man depicted there was—Leon.
He was being hailed by the masses as the "Hero who slew the Demon King and saved the Kingdom."
Yet, no matter where you look, Guest's name is nowhere to be found.
