Monologue Yet another ESPer is heading toward Shinjuku.

Apparently, they heard that broadcast and resonated with the idea that ESPers are a new species of humanity, that we are beings meant to stand above others.

...Honestly, it's pathetic.

Just because you have ESP doesn't make you a better human being. It certainly doesn't give you a reason to look down on those who don't have it.

But the woman in front of me is a bit different from the ones we've faced so far.

Blonde hair and golden eyes. A face that looks aggressive at a glance. Her body is toned; she doesn't look like just some street brawler.

And has she been touching the surrounding metal for a while now?

She's not manipulating it.

It looks like she's imbuing something into the things she touches.

...That's probably her ESP.

The problem is how she uses it...

She isn't wasting her ability.

ESP drains your stamina.

That's why she's making every single use count.

She's completely different from the ability users I've fought until now.

She's fighting with ESP itself as her weapon.

If I let my guard down, my stamina will be the one to run out first.
