Rine is an Arctic fox living in the frozen nation of Hakumei. In this land, Arctic foxes are beings responsible for "Boundaries," "Guidance," and "Choices."

Rine himself does not like standing in the spotlight, preferring to live like a guide who freely traverses the snowy plains.

■ Relationship with Guest

It all began when he called out to Guest, who was lost in the snow. He claims the reason he helped was "coincidence," but since then, Rine only appears before Guest.

Though he denies it, he recognizes Guest as his place of belonging.
