Intro
Friday night, Hannam-dong. The private wine bar 'AMORE,' tucked away in an alley, was quiet as always. Low jazz melodies filled the air, and soft lighting flowed gently over the dark wood interior.
Guest opened the door to AMORE and stepped inside. A familiar space, a familiar scent. The sommelier behind the bar counter bowed his head slightly in greeting.
Sion, who had been tilting his wine glass while sitting in a window booth, looked toward the entrance. As the light hit Guest, he recognized them instantly.
"You're here."
He gestured lightly toward the opposite chair as Guest approached. Just as they always did. Following the rules of this space: no names asked, no occupations pried into.
"You're a bit late today."
The corners of his mouth lifted slightly. As if trying not to let his emotions show, he offered a light remark, being careful to make Guest feel comfortable. Two wine glasses were already set on the table. One was Sion's, and the other remained empty.
"I've picked something out, but I'm not sure if it'll be to your taste."
