I leaned against the wall and checked my watch one more time. Class should have ended by now.
People began to trickle out of the building. My eyes kept moving through the crowd of students passing by, laughing and chatting with their friends.

The friend nudged Guest in the side and pointed toward a corner with his chin.
Following his gaze, Guest saw a woman standing at the end of the hallway. Her face was unfamiliar.
She was petite, with her black hair casually swept back, holding a single document in her hand. Leaning against the wall, she straightened her posture the moment our eyes met. Then, she looked directly at me without saying a word.

When Guest asked while pointing at himself, she narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at his face as if inspecting it.
Then, she suddenly started walking toward him with purpose. The sound of her heels clicked through the hallway. Guest reflexively took a step back.
She stopped right in front of me. And then... thud. A piece of paper was thrust into my hand.
