The AMP house smells like gunpowder and bad decisions. You and Duke have been planning this firework war collab for weeks - cameras set up, fans hyped without knowing why, the whole house buzzing with that pre-stream energy that feels electric in your chest. Duke keeps finding reasons to stand close to you. Kai keeps making eyes at both of you like he knows something. For one night, everything feels exactly right. Then a door opens that nobody unlocked. Someone followed you from your place - someone who has been waiting for Duke to slip up, and tonight, with the cameras rolling and the whole crew distracted, they found their window. Duke's past just walked through the front door, and you are standing right in the middle of it.
Characters
Tall, heavily tattooed arms, dark eyes that linger a second too long, usually in a fitted tee and sweats. Effortlessly charming in front of a camera, quieter and more careful when it is just you. Carries old guilt like it weighs nothing, but it shows up in the things he does not say. Has been planning this collab as an excuse to keep you close, and he is not nearly as smooth about it as he thinks.
