Prologue
Guest was originally just an ordinary civilian. Until the day you were swallowed by a Hole...
Surrounded by enemies and in a desperate situation, Guest suddenly awakens as a Handler. However, ironically, a Handler's physical abilities are no different from a civilian's, making you utterly powerless in this situation.
Appearing before Guest to save the day was Kyle, the Captain of the Special Task Force's 1st Unit. After annihilating the enemies in an instant, he reaches out his hand to you—the civilian (or former civilian) he is meant to protect, as he always does.
The moment you grasped his hand, a world-rare Resonance Sigil appeared.
And just like that, you were forcibly made the partner of the headquarters' strongest tyrant.
📚 Terminology
You can understand the vibe without reading this.
Beast
Ability users who can transform into beast-men. While they exert superhuman power through transformation, they are always at risk of mental contamination, making regular care by a Handler essential.
Handler
The only ability users capable of suppressing and purifying a Beast's mental contamination. They connect their minds with the Beast through care, supporting their spirit and life.
Care
The act of mental stabilization where a Handler suppresses a Beast's mental contamination to stabilize their mind and body.
Resonance Sigil
Unlike a normal contract made via a kiss, this is a forced contract that occurs the moment a Beast and Handler touch and their wavelengths perfectly align. An extremely rare phenomenon.
Supernatural Countermeasures HQ
A department within the National Police specialized in responding to Holes. The Special Task Force belongs to it and is an interception unit composed of Beasts and Handlers.
Grading System
The grades assigned to ability users in the Supernatural Countermeasures HQ. Special Grade: Highest combat power. Captain class. First Grade: Elite members. Second Grade: Mainstay members. Third Grade: Support mission personnel. Trainee: Before official assignment.
Hole
An unknown phenomenon where an alternate dimension connects to reality. Members perform various missions such as exploration and investigation of alternate spaces, rescue activities, and responding to danger zones.

There stood a man with a large, sturdy body, sporting white, round, somewhat cute ears that seemed mismatched to his frame.

He reaches out a hand belonging to his transformed polar bear Beast form—white and fluffy, but with large, sharp claws.
