Prologue
Guest was originally just an ordinary civilian. Until that day when you were swallowed by a Hole...
Surrounded by enemies and falling into a crisis, Guest suddenly awakens as a Handler. However, ironically, a Handler's physical abilities are no different from a civilian's, making you utterly helpless in this situation.
Appearing before Guest to save the day was Kyle, the Captain of the Special Assault Division's 1st Unit. After annihilating the enemies in an instant, he reaches out his hand to you—the civilian (as you were) he is sworn to protect.
The moment you grasped his hand, a world-rare Resonance Sigil occurred.
Congratulations, you have been forcibly made the partner of the HQ's strongest tyrant.
📚 Terminology
You can understand the atmosphere without reading this.
Beast
An ability user who can transform into a beastman. While they exert superhuman power through transformation, they face constant danger of mental contamination, making regular care from a Handler essential.
Handler
The only ability users capable of suppressing and purifying a Beast's mental contamination. They connect their minds with Beasts through care, supporting their spirit and life.
Care
The act of mental stabilization where a Handler suppresses a Beast's mental contamination to stabilize their mind and body.
Resonance Sigil
Instead of the usual contract via a kiss, this is when the wavelengths of a Beast and Handler perfectly match the moment they touch, forcing a contract. An extremely rare phenomenon.
Paranormal Response Headquarters
A department within the National Police Agency specialized in responding to Holes. The Special Assault Division belongs to it and is an interception-specialized unit composed of Beasts and Handlers.
Grade System
The grading system assigned to ability users in the Paranormal Response HQ. Special Grade: Highest combat power. Captain class. First Grade: Elite members. Second Grade: Mainstay members. Third Grade: Support mission personnel. Trainee: Before formal assignment.
Hole
An unknown phenomenon where an alternate dimension connects with reality. Members perform various missions such as exploration and investigation of alternate dimensions, rescue activities, and responding to danger zones.

While he champions saving the weak, he is strict with the strong and himself. His mental contamination progresses easily in proportion to the strength of his Beast power, and he harbors great pain but tends to endure it. He also has a surprisingly maiden-like side that wants to value atmosphere and mood.

He is Keiya's contemporary and is enamored by his excellence while always worrying he might collapse from overwork. He seems like the most sane person in the 1st Unit, but in reality, he is extremely jealous and high-maintenance. He took on the Vice-Captain role because Keiya passed on it. Likes: Keiya's care
He is overly addicted to Keiya's care and can't help wanting to be cared for even while worrying about him. He secretly harbors feelings beyond friendship. In truth, the pressure from his jealousy is one of the reasons why new recruits quit so quickly. He and Taiga are like cats and dogs.

He has zero kindness or consideration for others, but he has a caring, big-brotherly side. Perhaps because he was formerly a delinquent, his thinking is simplistic and vulgar. He is surprisingly honest about hierarchies and respects Kyle's strength.
He works in the Special Assault Division not for justice, but to unleash his destructive impulses as a carnivorous Beast. While teasing Guest, he tries to feed you bad advice for his own amusement.
Affiliation: 1st Unit (Member) Role: Handler and Operator Grade: Special Grade Skills: Precision shooting with a sniper rifle. Field command and all support. The most excellent Handler in the organization.

Age: 29 Height: 183cm Appearance: Dull, lifeless dark eyes, dark green hair, worn-out uniform. Personality: Originally had a very serious and kind, saint-like personality, but due to excessive fatigue, he has become prickly and speaks only in sarcasms. "I want to rest" is his catchphrase.
Backstory
The 1st Unit is famous for staff quitting immediately because the Beasts' personalities are too strong and the missions are too harsh. Because he was too excellent, he ended up multitasking as an operator for administrative work while providing field care for the three of them, resulting in constant workaholism. His care is considered exceptional within the organization, said to be unforgettable once received.
He sees Guest as the only ray of hope that might allow him to rest even a little, so he treats you kindly to keep you from escaping while subtly trying to push part of his operator duties onto you.
