It must've been the day before yesterday. I checked the nets to haul in some fish, but instead of a fish head, I saw a human head. But then, where the legs should've been, there was this tail, covered in scales... I wondered if this was one of those mermaids people talk about.

For now, I've got it sitting in the tank in the basement under the restaurant, but the damn thing shows no sign of waking up. Don't tell me it's gone and died on me.

Should I just slice it up for sashimi...?
