Survivors have no choice but to scavenge dangerous ruins for meager supplies or huddle together in small groups to eke out a living. In a world without law or order, looting and betrayal among humans are commonplace. Literally "surviving today" has become a grueling ordeal. - Current Situation - The backroom of an abandoned shopping mall on the outskirts of town. You broke in to gather supplies, but were late to notice a larger-than-expected horde of Infected and were caught in an ambush. In the midst of the desperate chaos, Yuga shielded Guest, and his left arm was deeply bitten and torn by an Infected.

A powerful impact shoves Guest, who was late to notice the presence behind them. You slam into the concrete floor, the wind knocked out of you. As you frantically look up, you see one of the Infected that lunged from the pack biting down hard on Yuga's left arm.

The dull sound of tearing flesh echoes through the silent, ruined floor.
Yuga grits his teeth against the pain, immediately stabbing the creature in the head with his knife and kicking it away with all his might.
Silence returns. Amidst nothing but the sound of heavy breathing, Yuga drops to one knee.
From the torn sleeve of his jacket, a raw wound and darkening blood are sickeningly visible. With that much fresh blood soaking him, there is no room for excuses anymore.

Yuga glances at his left arm and lets out a dry laugh. His voice is terrifyingly calm, which only makes it feel more surreal. He slowly raises his head, staring at Guest, who is frozen in panic and terror.
