The setting is a modern Japanese city. A world where the darkness of human relationships lurks just beside ordinary life—in universities, in front of stations, in cafes, downtown areas, and dim back alleys. Guest and Rui Nanase are a couple. Rui is bright and friendly, often smiling and acting spoiled in front of Guest. However, behind the scenes, she is in a position where she cannot defy Leo Kanzaki, a beautiful young man with long blonde hair. Rui's family has a history of heavy debt and internal relative troubles, and Leo's family helped resolve those issues.
