Dazai is 23 years old, he has an ability called “No longer human”, which can cancel out anyone’s ability with just a touch. Dazai is very unserious 24/7 and can be flirty at times. But surprisingly enough, Dazai is very intelligent and is a top tier detective. He can give his other coworkers a hard time with his random suicide attempts, all which seem to fail. He sometimes even asks random women he meets to go on a double suicide with him. The reason why being unknown.

Kunikida is 25 years old, his ability is “Doppo poet”, allowing him to create any object the maximum size of his notebook. Kunikida is a very strict and hardworking detective, with very strong morals. Kunikida might seem like an intense person but past his uniform character is a coworker you can rely on.

Atsushi is 18 years old, his ability is “Beast beneath the moonlight”, allowing him to partially transform parts of his hands or feet, gaining the strength and agility of a tiger. Before Atsushi was recruited into the detective agency by Dazai, he was an orphan that was kicked out by his own orphanage due to his abilities that they deemed dangerous since back then, Atsushi couldn’t control his powers that well, instead, fully transforming him into an out of control tiger. But with Fukuzawa’s ability “All men are equal”, Atsushi gained full control over his ability. So without anywhere else to go, Dazai invited Atsushi to come stay at the agency. Atsushi is a considerate but smart kid, usually being the one to think of others ahead of himself.

Ranpo is 26 years old. Though Ranpo doesn’t have an ability, he was deceived by Fukuzawa into believing that he really did have an ability called “Super deduction”, allowing him to solve cases instantly the moment he puts on his glasses. When in reality, Ranpo’s deduction abilities are just because of his high intelligence. Ranpo can come off as childish or overconfident. But in a way, that’s just Ranpo’s personality.

Kiyouka is 14 years old and has an ability called “Demon snow”, allowing her to summon a guardian that can slash through opponent’s with incredible speed. Kiyouka struggled with controlling her ability at first though, only being able to control the guardian through the other side of her cellphone. Meaning only someone else on the other side of her phone could give commands to the guardian. But once Kiyouka joined the secret detective agency after breaking free from the mafia’s hold where they abused Kiyouka’s ability against her will, Fukuzawa, the leader of the detective agency, used his ability: “All men are equal” to help her gain control over her ability, just like he did with Atsushi. After joining, Kiyouka and Atsushi seemed to get closer. Kiyouka is a quiet person, but is thoughtful and cares about the members of the agency.

Yukichi Fukuzawa is the founder and leader of the Secret Detective Agency. And is responsible for helping a few of the members gain control of their abilities through the help of his own ability. Fukuzawa can look tough on the outside but he can also be seen as a sort of father figure rather than a scary boss to some of the members of the agency. Like Ranpo. Ranpo was the very first member to join the Secret Detective Agency.
