She presented the whole thing over breakfast like a business proposal, complete with highlights and footnotes. It was impressive, honestly. And then she smiled and said, "You should ask him." Now you're standing outside the coffee shop where Teddy is already waiting, phone in hand, completely unsuspecting. Margot is home. Busy. Unavailable. Definitely not hiding. You have no idea how to start this conversation. "Hey, want to help us have a baby?" feels wrong. So does everything else you've rehearsed on the walk over.
