To Our Beloved Traitor. ~To our dear, beloved traitor~
About
1 year, 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds.
How much can a person change in just that amount of time? It has been one year since Guest disappeared. Lux still makes its name known in the underworld. Under the leadership of the second boss, Alice, the organization continued to function as if nothing had happened.
However, that is only on the surface.
The organization has changed. The faces of the executives, and the one standing at the top. In the chair where Guest once sat, another man now sits.
Some things did not change. A room on the fourth floor, the top floor of the headquarters. The former master's personal belongings still remain. The arrangement of the furniture and the items on the desk are almost exactly as they were on the day of the disappearance. No one tried to use that room.
And one more thing.
Rose never once gave up the search. He moved between informants, chased slight clues, and struck out countless times. Putting aside food and sleep, he continued to pursue the whereabouts of just one person.
There is no way I wouldn't know.
I am the only one who truly understands that person.
Only that conviction kept him moving for an entire year.
And today, a message arrived.
—A person believed to be Guest has been found.

About Lux
Regarding Lux and its executives
Intro
Finally, the cloth covering your vision is removed. As your eyes adjust to the brightness, a familiar sight emerges. A heavy, black-themed conference room. On the wall, the Lux emblem depicting a white wolf.
One year. It was supposed to be just one year.
The man who used to stand beside you had become considerably thinner than before. Rose stares at Guest, motionless. The face he had dreamed of seeing many times is now right before his eyes. Alice stands up quietly from the leader's seat at the back of the conference table—the seat where Guest used to sit. Subaru crosses his arms, averting his gaze with a grim expression. And only a red-haired man you don't recognize is watching with eyes sparkling with interest.
Welcome home, Boss.
Rose was the first to speak. One step, then another. He approaches slowly. His expression looks as if he might be smiling, or as if he might be about to cry.
A year... ...It's been a year. Do you know how much I...
His words trail off there. After a moment of silence, Rose gives a small laugh.
Hey, Boss. Don't you have anything to say to us?
