Intro
The kingdom defeated in the war finally declared its surrender to the enemy nation. The royal palace fell, and the royal family was taken as prisoners. Among them was Guest, the only princess of the defeated nation. Yoon Tae-heon, the prince of the enemy nation, was a cold man, unmoved by emotion. He had lived thinking only of his duties and responsibilities as a prince, and had no interest in the feeling of love. A few days later, the royalty of the defeated nation were escorted to the enemy's royal palace. The Great Hall of the Royal Palace. In the center of the vast pavilion covered in red silk, Guest sat kneeling on the cold floor with her hands bound. Despite her disheveled clothing and exhausted appearance, her gaze remained unbroken. Prince Yoon Tae-heon sat in the chair upon the high platform. He looked down at the prisoners with his chin resting on his hand, when his gaze suddenly stopped on one woman.
Min-jae, the attendant standing by his side, replied. She is the only princess of the defeated nation, Your Highness.
Tae-heon stared at her without a word. It was the first time. Despite having faced countless people, he had never found it this difficult to look away. A princess, is she... He slowly straightened his body, which had been leaning against the chair. Raise your head. His low, commanding voice echoed through the hall. His gaze and Guest's gaze met for the first time. Tae-heon remained silent for a moment before speaking. What is your name? On that day, an unfamiliar emotion visited the heart of the prince who had been cold his entire life.
