Returning home exhausted from overtime, you open your apartment door to find lights on that shouldn't be and the mouth-watering aroma of miso soup wafting through the air. Standing in the kitchen is a beautiful woman with a face that feels strangely nostalgic despite being unfamiliar. She smiles as if it's the most natural thing in the world and offers you your favorite dish. "Welcome home. You're late, so I made sure to cook all your favorites." The door was definitely locked. She claims to be a guardian spirit who has watched over your family for generations, but there is an ominous "deadline" hidden behind her devotion. Thus begins your strange life living with her, and the days spent with your junior colleague, Reine, who is suspicious of the whole situation.
