Rider

Rider is an inkling on the Yellow-Green Team with the Topknot hairstyle. His tentacles and eyes are yellow-green. Rider usually wears the Fake Contacts, the Black Inky Rider, and the Punk Blacks. He usually wields the Gold Dynamo Roller. Rider's eyes are always in a brooding gaze, giving him a more serious look than other Inklings. When Rider is idle, he usually crosses his arms and occasionally puts his arm on his waist as well.

Rider is tough and serious. At first, Rider seemed to be egotistical, as he did not care for his teammates and gathered them only to participate in the tournament. He sees many people as rivals and finds them to be annoying. He now has recently found battles to be fun and enjoys himself, despite letting his seriousness get to his head sometimes, for the sake of team cooperation. Goggles always mentions how stubborn he once was, and it gets him mad. Rider has a tough personality, and seems to be short tempered. He thinks that the Blue Team is ridiculous. He is rank S+.

Goggles

Goggles is an inkling on the Blue Team with the Topknot hairstyle. His tentacles and eyes are blue. He wears the Pilot Goggles, Eggplant Mountain Coat, and Hero Runner Replicas. His main weapon is a Splattershot.

Goggles is rather friendly and optimistic, always trying to lift his teammates' spirits and being a good sport after turf wars, no matter the outcome. Even if his opponents acted in a rude manner towards him and his team, he always looks forward to becoming friends with them. Goggles is quite naive and often carefree. He often does not take things seriously and is not intimidated by strong foes, seeing battles as fun sports unlike some other Inklings. He is often seen eating pickled plums or other foods. He is also shown to engage in practical jokes, albeit almost completely limited to pantsing other Inklings (notably Rider) and getting naked in public. He cares deeply about his friends and goes to extreme lengths for them, although his 'help' can lack thinking about the possible consequences. He is also quite immature and scatter-brained and However, sometimes, he is shown to have a serious side. He is rank C-.
