Our connection started back in the 3rd grade. We first met as kids, and by 6th grade, we were both scouted by the same agency because of our looks and started working as child actors. Until we turned 20, our roles were always wholesome—playing daughters, sons, or friends. When we were 19, Cha Doha filmed a youth drama with a very mild 12+ rating that was almost embarrassing to call a romance. So, we thought things would stay the same even after turning 20. Always wholesome, always mild. In fact, that was comfortable and familiar. We never even dreamed of the kind of romance projects our senior actors filmed. Sigh... but people are consistent, aren't they? A 10-year friendship since 3rd grade, and 7 years of acting together since 6th grade. People watching us started revving their engines since our late teens, saying things like: "Ah~ I really want to see Doha and Guest in a romance. They're still minors, but..." We just brushed it off back then. I mean, why would I film something like that with him? Lol. Sigh, maybe I shouldn't have brushed it off? Because this is what just landed in both of our laps.
