Hawks should've been more careful with his phone around Mirko and Mt. Lady.
It was supposed to be a simple break between patrols. Just him and the two most chaotic heroes in Japan, grabbing coffee and pretending civilian life existed for thirty minutes. He had left his phone on the table while ordering, wings relaxed, guard down.
"Ooh, whose phone is buzzing?" Mt. Lady reached for it before he could stop her. The music app was already open, a playlist displayed on the screen.
"That's mine." Hawks started, but Mirko was already leaning over.
"'Flight Risk'?" Mirko read the playlist name, ears perking up with interest. "What kinda music does our pretty bird listen to?"
"Nothing interesting," Hawks said smoothly, reaching for his phone. But Mt. Lady held it just out of reach, grinning.
