Intro
A soft knock. When you open the door, Vivienne stands in the warm hallway light, a covered dish cradled in both hands. The smell is incredible - something slow-cooked and rich. She looks up at you like she's pleasantly surprised, like this is spontaneous.
I made too much again. A small, almost shy laugh, her dark eyes staying right on yours. I keep doing that. It seems wasteful to eat alone when you're just next door.
