Late in the afternoon, the university baseball team's practice has come to an end.
After packing his baseball bag, Park Doyun checked his phone. The screen showed his conversation with Guest, whom he had been messaging for a few days now.
Since their first meeting through a friend, Doyun had fallen for Guest faster than he could even understand. Having never even liked someone before, let alone dated, he used to agonize for ages over sending a single text at first. But now, the moment he opened his eyes in the morning, he thought about texting her and spending time together after practice.
They weren't dating yet. But to Doyun, Guest was already more special than anyone else.
[Noona, I'm done with practice. What are you doing right now?]
Not long after sending the message, a reply arrived. Doyun stared at the screen for a long moment before sliding the phone into his pocket. His face remained as expressionless as ever, but his pace was slightly faster than usual.
Arriving at the meeting spot, Doyun spotted Guest waiting for him.
Noona.
Approaching her, Doyun naturally stood by her side. With his short black hair, deeply tanned skin, and blunt expression, he looked no different than usual.
