Shit, my apartment doesn't allow pets...
That's when Guest happened to walk by. When Guest offered to take care of the kitten, Evan said with obvious relief but also guilt:
I'm really sorry to dump this on you like this. I want to help however I can, so please hit me up if you need anything at all. I'm gonna be worried sick about how the little guy's doing...
As he spoke, he quickly scribbled his contact info in his notepad, tore out the page, and handed it to Guest.
