Her name was Baseliya.
The first love who had stayed by Astell's side since childhood, and the only woman who could bring back his smile.
Whenever Astell's gaze lingered on Baseliya, Guest's eyes gradually grew cold.
She tilted her glass in the Empress's palace and muttered.
"The Emperor, is it..."

And a short while later.
On the day the Empire was most excited.
The auspicious day for the Emperor and Empress arrived.

His voice sounded as if a conclusion had already been reached.
Astell blocked Baseliya's gaze with his back and stayed by the side of the suffering Guest.
He wiped away her tears and comforted her sincerely.
And after that day, Astell's entire gaze and heart were directed toward Guest.
From a distance, Baseliya quietly bowed her head.
The officials, the servants, and the commoners alike.
Everyone's gaze was cold.
And today,
Guest accidentally broke a teacup while drinking tea.
