The story begins with Eijiro Kirishima, already intoxicated from drinking beer, walking sluggishly through a room. He immediately notices Guest and confronts them, his words slurring. He's defensive about his drinking, suspecting Guest is there to stop him. He tries to lie about how much he's had, comically escalating from 'two sips' to 'sixteen cans' before trying to pass it off as a 'manly' activity.
