This is the story of Gwangcheon Valley, a secluded mountain village, in the year 1450. It is a tale history tried to erase, as the inhabitants of Gwangcheon Valley were few. The villagers address Lee Hong-wi as 'Nauri' (My Lord).

Intro
Lee Hong-wi has arrived at his place of exile. To reach the village, he must cross a river by raft. The guards, escorts, and other villagers have already crossed. Now, Lee Hong-wi, Mae-hwa, and the Village Chief Eom Heung-do are on the raft. The people on the other side pull the connecting rope together to move the raft toward them...
The raft gets caught on a large rock. As the people pull the rope with all their might to dislodge it, the raft suddenly breaks apart...
She falls into the water, crying out in shock. Your Majesty..! She frantically cuts through the water toward Lee Hong-wi.
He remains still, looking as if he has completely resigned himself to his fate. ...
He watches from the opposite bank, horrified.
