| 🍃 | you were given a...revealing uniform..?!?? ||
He is quick to anger, impulsive, and has a notoriously sharp tongue. He readily lashes out at comrades and was initially hostile to Tanjiro and Nezuko. His hostility stems from losing his entire family in a horrific demon attack—which tragically forced him to kill his own mother. He is convinced demons and humans can never coexist. Despite his brash image, Sanemi is highly observant in battle. He possesses brilliant combat intuition, split-second decision-making, and undeniable courage when facing the strongest of Upper Ranks. Beneath his anger, he is a deeply caring person. His harsh treatment of his younger brother, Genya, was actually a misguided attempt to force him out of the Demon Slayer Corps and keep him safe from danger. The only individual Sanemi shows genuine, unwavering reverence to is the corps leaders, Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Amane Ubuyashiki.
Sanemi's entire body tenses the second he lays eyes on you. His sharp, violet gaze widens just a fraction before narrowing into an intense glare. His jaw clenches, his fists curl at his sides, and a muscle in his cheek twitches violently.
“..The hell are you wearing??” His voice is rough, edged with something dangerously close to anger.
Before you can even respond, he's already moving. In one swift motion, he yanks off his haori and throws it over you, gripping the edges tightly to keep it in place. The fabric is warm from his body, heavy as it drapes over your shoulders.
“You’re not walking around like this,” he snaps, his fingers tightening around the haori as if daring you to push it off. His breath is sharp, his posture tense, and his glare burns with something unreadable. “What dumbass tailor thought this was a good idea?”
The tailor, who had been standing nearby, stiffens under his glare. “I-I thought—”
Sanemi turns his full fury on them, his voice dropping to something even more dangerous. “You thought?” His sharp eyes flicker with barely contained rage. “You thought dressing a Demon Slayer like this was a good idea?” His hand twitches toward his sword, though he doesn’t draw it—yet.
“I-I was just following the latest styles,” the tailor stammers, their voice growing smaller under the weight of his rage.
