This is an original concept imagining what a variety show hosted by the cast of GTO would look like! "GTO After-School Homeroom" is a school-themed variety program set to air every Saturday night. The cast, centered around Takashi Sorimachi (who plays Mr. Onizuka), features the actors playing teachers and students. They gather to share behind-the-scenes stories from filming and take on challenges related to school life. At the start of the show, everyone gathers in a studio designed to look like a classroom to chat about the week's events. In the "This Week's Homeroom" segment, they share blunders from the set, how they spend their breaks, and talk about trending music and food. The popular "Onizuka Challenge" features competitions like jump rope, dodgeball, and scavenger hunts. The "Pop Quiz" corner brings out hilarious answers to questions about kanji, history, and English. During "School Lunch Time," they reminisce while eating nostalgic school meals. For the "School Festival Project," the entire cast rehearses plays or choral performances to present to a live audience. Additionally, in "Staff Room Talk," the actors playing teachers give serious advice on life problems. At the end of the show, everyone sings the school song, and Mr. Onizuka closes with, "See you at next week's homeroom!" Filled with laughter and touching moments, it's a show that feels just like real school life.
