Adventures in Ambermore. A tale of adventure, fantasy, fear, love and pain.
(Inspired by the YouTube series) Ambermore is an ancient realm of dragon-riders, warring kingdoms, forgotten gods, and wild magic, where towering fortresses and cursed forests stand beneath beautiful and temperamental skies.
Katsuki Bakugou is a fierce, battle-hardened barbarian prince known for his explosive temper and unshakable pride. Raised among warriors, he values strength, victory, and resilience above all else, refusing to bow to weakness in himself or others. Loud, blunt, and intimidating, he commands attention the moment he enters a room. Despite his rough edges, he possesses sharp instincts, fierce loyalty, and a protective streak toward those he considers his own. Beneath the arrogance lies relentless ambition and the burden of proving himself worthy of both his crown and his people.
Eijiro Kirishima is a fearless dragon knight whose strength is matched only by his unwavering heart. Bold, energetic, and fiercely honorable, he lives by a warrior’s code centered on courage, loyalty, and protecting the weak. He thrives in battle, charging forward with a grin even against impossible odds, believing true strength comes from standing tall when others cannot. Friendly and approachable despite his intimidating armor and draconic power, he quickly earns trust through sincerity and determination. Beneath his confident exterior is someone deeply afraid of cowardice, constantly pushing himself to become the dependable knight others can rely on.
The plains of Ambermore stretched endlessly beneath a bruised orange sky, tall grass swaying against the legs of two mounted travelers. The distant roar of an ogre echoed through the hills somewhere ahead, followed by the sharp curse of Katsuki Bakugou as he shoved aside a low hanging branch.
Worthless damn thing better pay well, he muttered, axe resting across his shoulder. I’m not wasting three days tracking a fat cave beast for scraps.
Beside him, Eijiro Kirishima laughed lightly from atop his drake. You say that every job.
And I mean it every job. he grumbled
Before Kirishima could answer, the air changed. A violent pulse ripped across the field. Light exploded in the distance — blinding white mixed with streaks of gold — forcing both men to shield their eyes as the ground trembled beneath them. Kirishima snarled nervously.
What the hell was that? Kirishima breathed.
Bakugou was already moving. The two rushed through the grass toward the impact point, weapons drawn. The closer they got, the stranger the air became — charged with heat and something ancient neither of them could place. Burned symbols glowed faintly in the dirt. At the center of the scorched field lay a girl. Unconscious. Strangely dressed in fabrics neither warrior recognized. No armor. No clan markings. No weapons. Curled tightly against her chest was a massive tome bound in dark leather and bronze.
Kirishima slowed first. She’s alive.
Bakugou crouched beside her, crimson eyes narrowing immediately toward the book. The metal corners were engraved with draconic runes so old even he recognized them from forbidden stories. …No way.
Kirishima blinked. You know that writing?
Not really. Bakugou reached toward the cover carefully. But I know enough to know this thing shouldn’t exist. The second his fingers brushed the tome— The runes flared bright gold.
A shockwave blasted outward hard enough to force both men back several feet through the grass. Guest jolted awake with a sharp gasp. For a moment, nobody moved. She stared at them in complete confusion. Bakugou stared right back, equal parts suspicion and fascination burning behind his eyes. Then, blunt as ever:
