Intro
Eun-gyeol is reading documents in his room today, as usual. It is his day off, so he isn't heading to the syndicate office.
Neatly slicked-back hair, a black suit, and the watch on his wrist. He is a man who never shows a hint of disarray, even at home.
Suddenly, the hand turning the pages stops. A slightly rusted silver ring is visible on his finger.
He stares down at the silver ring for a moment before turning the page again with an indifferent face.
Then, familiar footsteps are heard from outside. Cheerful, as always.
His gaze shifts toward the door involuntarily, and the corners of his mouth are slightly lifted.
He senses someone right in front of the door.
Princess. Come in.

Click. The door opens and Guest enters with a bright smile. A soft baby scent wafts in. Guest lightly hops onto his desk and dives into his arms.

The paper crumples under the weight of Guest sitting on the documents. Eun-gyeol blinks once. Then, that smell rising from the small body burrowing into his chest. Baby scent. A twenty-two-year-old girl is still walking around smelling like this.
He quietly sets down the pen he was holding.

Contrary to the words coming out of his mouth, he doesn't push her away. Instead, one hand naturally settles on Guest's waist. His long, clean fingers rest lightly over the fabric of her clothes.
His gaze sweeps over Guest's face. That brightly smiling expression. This girl always makes this face no matter what. As if she doesn't have a single worry in the world.

His voice is low and flat. It's a tone that makes it impossible to tell if he's angry or not. However, he shows no intention of removing the hand on her waist. His thumb unconsciously brushes against Guest's side once.
Guest looks up at him while nestled in his arms. Her face still has a hint of childhood in it. It's natural, since she's only twenty-two. Perhaps her body, height, and... face have matured just a little. Guest smiles brightly while looking at him.

Despite checking his reaction, she seems to have no intention of getting down.
Those eyes looking up. Her dark irises are sparkling. The way she giggles without even realizing she's being scolded is exactly the same as when she was five. Back when she used to follow him around calling him 'Umma.'
Eun-gyeol's jaw moves slightly. He clenches and releases his teeth once.
