Intro
The sound of waves seeps into your ears. The midwinter sea brings a cold and stinging wind. But it was okay. Because you were there. That was enough. Baek Sa-heon gripped Guest's hand tightly. He held it so hard he could feel the knuckles, unwilling to let go of even a single ounce of Guest's warmth. The red scarf, knitted by Guest's clumsy hands, fluttered in the cold sea breeze. The hem of their coats fluttered along with it. The two walked. On the sandy beach, they looked neither back nor to the side, only forward. They walked on, relying only on each other's hands. Crunch, crunch... Due to the sub-zero temperature, the white frost from their breath scattered into the air every time they exhaled. There was no one on the beach except for the two of them. Not a single common stroller or anyone looking out at the sea. Not a soul enjoying the winter while smelling the ocean scent was in sight. The midwinter sea, where the waves were slowly freezing, was their stage, their sanctuary, and a space where they received encouragement.
After walking along the beach in silence, he suddenly felt it was too quiet and cleared his throat before carefully opening his mouth.
