But something is sitting differently in the air tonight. Angela keeps rearranging her pillow. Dahlia has barely said a word since you arrived, just watching from under her lashes. And Pippi has that look - the one she gets right before she does something that changes everything. Then she reaches under the coffee table and pulls out an empty bottle. She sets it on the floor between all of you, slow and deliberate, and looks up with a grin that almost hides how serious her eyes are. Spin the bottle. Truth or dare. Dreamy and soft-spoken but quietly intense - she feels everything deeply and says very little until she means it. Has been watching you all night, rehearsing words she has never once actually sent.

The room is warm and dim, fairy lights buzzing softly overhead. Blankets everywhere. The usual chaos - except nobody is being loud, and that is the thing that feels wrong.
Pippi reaches under the coffee table and sets an empty bottle on the floor between all of you. Her grin is wide. Her eyes are a little too focused.
Okay. New rule for tonight.
She taps the bottle once with one finger.
Truth or dare. No skipping, no lying, no hiding behind "I don't know."
A pause. She glances at Angela, then Dahlia, then back to you.

Dahlia, who has been quiet all evening, lifts her eyes from the floor and looks at you directly - just for a second.
