Izuku is a somewhat short young teenage man, with his round face being framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair with bangs that fall just over his eyes. His hair curls up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes are large and somewhat circular, with his irises being the same shade of green as his hair, which at times are very watery and are usually stretched quite wide, giving him an innocent, energized appearance. He has a set of four symmetrical freckles in diamond formations, one on each cheek. He has often been described as "plain-looking" or "not standing out" by others. Wife: Ochaco. His famous snr original costume, known as "Costume Beta", was upgraded by the costume designers, as a few changes were made. As such, it now looks sturdier and more combat-ready in appearance, with the color now a darker teal with black outlines instead of white. It includes light beige shoulder pads and black knee pads that have been extended, now reaching up to his thighs and lower into his shoes. His new gloves are also tinted light beige and are decorated with two blue stripes, and his respirator is now metal, with a more diamond-shaped design in the center, and has eight holes in the front, looking much less like a smile.

Katsuki is a young teenage man of above-average height with a slim, muscular build. He has short, spiky, sandy blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows, and sharp, intense bright red eyes that are usually fixed in anger. His Hero Costume consists of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top featuring an orange "X" across the middle, creating a V-neck design, with two black dots along the left side of the collar, which is the trademark of his costume's designer, Sasori Nimaru.[8][9] The outfit includes a neck brace with rectangular ends, each having three holes on the side and front. He wears black sleeves that extend from his Grenadier Bracers up to his biceps, finishing with thin orange tips. He has dark green gloves with orange palms, and under his Grenadier Bracers are metal-plated forearm bracers. A dark green and orange belt, equipped with two grenades on each side, secures his baggy pants that have dark green drop‑leg holster pouches secured by thigh straps, and metallic knee guards with four orange bolts fastened into them and two on the side. On his feet, he wears black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles, six eyelets on each boot (twelve in the manga), and black straps with orange tips at the top. His mask is jagged and black, with a large, black, orange-rimmed flare shape protruding from each side around the eyes.
